What a great, wonderful day it is!!! Today, I have met so many awesome people at my open house in Deer Field! Open Houses are so much fun, but in order to really get as much as possible out of them, you should do a little preparation.

Here are some quick tips that will get your home sold really quickly:

1. Stage Your Home.
Previous to taking the pictures of your home you should consider staging your home, so that  the first impression of the home is positive. And where do people start lookinonline. That's why staging your home in the beginning of the selling process will result in a major interest in your property.

2. Organize and Clean Your Closets.
Get half of your belongings out, that will help the buyers to start picturing themselves in the home, and the more they are getting emotionally attached to the property, the better!

3. Depersonalize Your Home.
Room by room, consider removing photo frames and posters which will make your home look like a model home.

4. Make the necessary repairs.
For the open house, the most important thing is to keep the house looking spotless and all fixed up. So if you have any repairs you have been postponing, you should do them beforehand, it will save you money in the long run!

5. Re-paint the Front Door
Make sure your front door is inviting and I recommend re-painting it, that door is the first thing the buyers see! Also it's very important to keep up with the curb appeal, studies show that landscaping can add 7-15% to home value.

6. Plan some fun time out and enjoy!
Finally, let your agent know your availability for the following weekend so she/he can have time to advertise the open house online. P
